Stand seats at Guangzhou Workers' Stadium

Guangzhou Workers' Stadium, also known as Fangcun Workers' Cultural Palace, is one of the important sports venues in Guangzhou. As one of the largest comprehensive sports venues in Guangzhou, Guangzhou Workers' Stadium is not only an important venue for sports events, but also an important place for citizens' leisure and entertainment.

The Guangzhou Workers' Stadium was built in 1987 to commemorate the contributions made by the working class in Guangzhou to socialist construction. At the beginning of its construction, the sports stadium was well-equipped and spacious, making it one of the most modern sports venues in Guangzhou at that time. After years of development, Guangzhou Workers' Stadium has gradually become one of the important sports and cultural centers in Guangzhou city.

The football field of this stadium is one of the few natural grass football fields in Guangzhou. Due to its location in the central old city area of Guangzhou, it has attracted many nearby citizens to come and exercise or participate in activities. However, due to limited space, the number of seats in the stands on both sides of the football field is limited, which has always been a weakness here.

In April 2024, Chuangxiong Stand won the bid for the structural renovation project of the stands and canopy of the stadium, and began upgrading and renovating the stands of the football field.

The renovation work will be completed in July 2024. The seats on both sides of the stands are orange, and the overall structure of the stands is steel, which can accommodate more than 1000 spectators. The stands are equipped with sunshades, which can provide shelter for citizens and friends who come to participate in activities during rainy weather.
