Sun Yat sen University Shenzhen Campus Gymnasium Swimming Pool Stand Seats

In 2015, Sun Yat sen University signed a cooperation agreement with the Shenzhen Municipal Government, and the Shenzhen campus of Sun Yat sen University was located in Guangming District. Sun Yat sen University Shenzhen Campus is one of the main campuses of Sun Yat sen University, a comprehensive key university directly under the Ministry of Education. The discipline design mainly focuses on medicine and engineering, and has built a relatively complete discipline system covering humanities, sciences, medicine, engineering, agriculture and other disciplines, as well as a comprehensive talent training system from undergraduate to doctoral. The total investment of Sun Yat sen University Shenzhen Campus project is 12.7 billion yuan, with a scale of 20000 students, including 10000 undergraduate students and 10000 graduate students. Located at 66 Gongchang Road, Guangming District, Shenzhen, the planned land area is 314.3 hectares, with 144.82 hectares for Phase I construction and 169.48 hectares for Phase II planning.

Based on the harmonious environment of mountains and waters in the Shenzhen campus, the designer proposed the "Mountain, Water, Etiquette, and Learning" - a landscape campus plan with one core, one belt, and two axes. It includes four major architectural clusters of "medicine, science, engineering, and humanities", each with its own characteristics.

The sports group consists of three halls, A, B, and C. Hall A is the sports hall, the first floor is the competition venue, surrounded by 2010 retractable stands, and the second floor has 2116 fixed seats and 28 chairman's podium. The overall capacity is over 4000 people. All seats are equipped with gas assisted injection molded folding seats, which are overall high-end and atmospheric, and easy to pass after folding. The retractable activity stand adopts a rear mounted installation method that is more in line with the overall atmosphere of the sports arena.

The swimming pool only has fixed seats and uses the same type of foldable injection molded seats as the gymnasium. The overall color is yellow and can accommodate 372 spectators.
